Monday, August 1, 2011, Victoria celebrated BC Day presented by Capital Festival Productions on the beautiful St Ann's Academy grounds.

Our vision this year was to offer a more interactive experience for the public.
Audiences participated or simply relaxed and enjoy our three separate
stage performance areas. Food was provided by the direction of the Head Chef
of the Victoria Marriott Hotel.

Many exceptional musicians and BC Emerging Artists were featured at our 2011 event, including:

Dream Circus Audiences witnessed the spectacular acrobatics
of clown Ben La Barouette (former member of Cirque du Soleil).

Dance, Dance, Dance!!! Salsa Caliente performed as well as feature salsa
for adults and hip-hop workshops for kids!

Live Music by BC Emerging Artist Karly Summers, Sarah Tradewell and
others were featured throughout the day.

Special thanks goes out to Sophia Vassilliadis for performing Emcee duties at our BC Day Celebrations first ever Garage Band Live Competition.
